Well, it took me 3 full days to get this blog entry in. In fact I wonder how the missus and bloggers whom can blog in the shortest time available do it. >.<
Anyway, me and missus were able to post celebrate our BIG 10th ROM anniversary at a special place last weekend! A night staycation at St Regis Singapore!

Well, initially, St Regis didn’t really appeal to us (or at least myself) as an attractive place to spend a night at. Standing somewhere in between Tanglin Mall and Forum The Shopping Mall, I guess it wasn’t being in a prime and accessible location. No seaview, No flyer view, No sunset view, No marina bay view, No huge malls. Nothing but this…
Nevertheless, the missus, having intrigued by the raved review of the hotel from her colleague, decided we should perhaps give it a try to see how good it really was. So we did!
One really nice thing we noticed about St Regis is the exceptional service it had provided even before we set foot into it.
A day before, an employee had called the missus to ask the estimated timing we would be checking in. I presumed this was to get the rooms ready prior our arrival so that we do not need to wait for it. This is special because the usual response of “The room is not ready yet Sir/Mdm” was something quite common to us.
On the day itself, we decided to go for an early lunch at Tanglin so we tried out our luck to check in a couple of hours earlier. To our surprise, room’s ready and we were specially given an upgrade to a higher category room because of the special occasion. Thumbs up on that!
So here are some of the photos we took in the hotel (unfortunately, we were too lazy to venture to the swimming pool so no pic of the pool! -_-)

~~~ Sitting bench in lift! ~~~
~~~ One of the classiest design hotel we have ever visited in Singapore ~~~
~~~ Not forgetting the area which most impressed me ~~~
You saw it right! Television in the bath (For me to watch Cartoon Networks in the tub!! @.@). LOL.
This is the first i visit which has one in the bath room. And this is the first one (of the other many) which has MIO stadium, meaning you can catch a few live telecasts of BPL right in the room! Fantastic for me really although not for the rest…
Here are some random photos we took that day.
Ok, now the not so impressive things…
Yes, this literally happened multiple times….
Food… something which we weren’t exactly impressed. We had room service for dinner and subsequently breakfast the next morning in the hotel. Not appealing to us I would say, maybe due to the lack of common varieties (like bee hoon??!?? Hahaha).
Nonetheless, there are many reviews on the restaurants so I will leave that to the real food critics.
Next morning we went for a walk at Forum Shopping Mall and were got a chance to watch a puppet show!
