For day 2, we checked out of Airport hotel about 8am to reach the Lotte World hotel at about 9am as the travelling time took about 1 hour. We could only check into the room at 3pm, so we left our luggages and went to Lotte World.
Lotte World opens at about 10am, so we walked around the area before going there. There was a long queue to get into Lotte World when it opens at 10am. It seems like many koreans like to visit the place, as well as tourists. Lotte World has an indoor theme park and outdoor amusement park known as “Magic Island”.
We were not keen with queuing up for the rides, so eventually, we just walked around the place and visited the Folk Culture Museum which highlights Korean folk culture through miniature displays.
At about 2pm plus nearly 3pm, we went to check into Lotte World Hotel room. The family room is spacious with 2 bunk beds, a king size bed and a living area. It costs me about $600 plus per night! But we do think the room is really worth the price as it is so comfortable. We bought a cake from Oumt bakery and food from Earl of Sandwich to celebrate hubby’s birthday. We bought Earl of Sandwich because me and Dash, who went to buy the food could only understand it’s menu as it was in English and not all in Korean. The sandwiches and chicken wings were quite nice!
We went to the supermarket at Lotte World Mall to get some snacks and I bought a box of Korea Strawberries to eat. I miss the Korea Strawberries!
That night, we had a good sleep due to the comfortable beds and room.
