DIY Ukulele

I saw a friend bringing her kids for DIY Ukulele workshop and wanted to bring Dash and Violet too, however, the timing doesn’t suit me and the cost is rather expensive, so eventually, I searched the website to see if I can get the DIY Ukulele kit myself. I found it in Qoo10 at about $15 per set and bought it for the kids.

There is no instruction booklet, so we had to figure our how to assemble the Ukulele ourselves. I searched the internet, and found some pictures and videos. Luckily there were not many items to be assemble so it was rather easy to figure out which part goes to where. Dash told me it seems like many years ago since we last did crafts together.

After assembling, the kids colored their ukuleles and hubby helped to fix the strings (which I have really no idea how to do so). Tata! The DIY Ukuleles are completed, and we not only save money, but also save the hassle of going for the workshop although our self made Ukuleles may not look as nice or professional compare to those done in the workshop. But for the price of it, I guess it is still worth doing ourselves.
