After taking two days, our bedrooms’ flooring are finally done. However, the cleaning up and tidying up are the most tedious. I spend many hours having to vacuum away the dust and dirt, and to wipe off the dust on the furniture. I tried to shift away the big furniture like beds to wipe the flooring below, cause the workers have helped to shift them back after completion of the vinyl flooring. It was very tiring and tedious. Today, I guess I have to spend some time to put back the stuff on the cabinets that we removed for the workers to shift them. Also, I still have to wipe the interior of the wardrobes that got dusty as well.
But all this is worth because from now on, we have nice bedrooms’ flooring (I think it is nicer than the previous ones used) and we will no longer have to worry about water on the floor. Total cost for changing all the 4 bedrooms’ flooring: $3288 from Floorxpert. Their service is a bit disappointing though cause the sales person whom I liaise with is very slow in responding and in confirming the dates. I have to keep bugging her to reply to me. In addition, after we had done the bedrooms, we realised one of the bedroom door cannot be closed due to the skirting which is not done properly. Also, actually although their Belgium flooring is toxic free (which is what attracts us), and is more expensive than korean and china Vinyl flooring, but it traps dirt easily, and it is hard to mop off unless you scrub away. Overall, if not for the flooring that is toxic free and I have already done my living room flooring with them, I may not want to engage them anymore.
