We drove up to Lilydale Farm on day 13, it was a long 2 hours drive, so before we made our way there, we stopped by Grand Plaza for shopping, as well as to get some Groceries.

We also stopped by a Best Friends Pet Shop to get some souvenirs for our Jack Jack. We were quite amazed with the number of dog treats that the shop has for dogs.

After we arrived at Lilydale Farm, we realise how isolated the farm is. There was only one family (which is us) on the farm with the owners that day. It was quite scary for me, cause at night, the whole farm was very dark, and it was isolated from the town. You had to drive up/down a 45 minutes road to get to town.

But it is really a beautiful farm, very beautiful, and peaceful definitely. If you really like to be out of the world, this farm is the best. But sadly, the farm will not be operating next year, so aren’t we lucky to be able to stay on the farm before it stops operating.

The kids went for feeding of animals at 8am (Brisbane time, Singapore time 6am) and 3pm (Singapore time 12pm). They enjoyed the animals feeding very much. The people in charge of the farm were very friendly and nice. The kids could really get close to the animals in this farm, literally without any barriers, and Dash even experienced catching a Rooster or a Hen.

But for a person like me who is particular with cleanliness, well, with so many flies during Summer, and poos of animals, I did not really enjoy the animals feeding.

Dash said he enjoyed the farm so much and it was the best part of the trip! Violet found herself a new friend, the friendly dog at the farm, Jade. She kept going to look for the dog while our stay at the farm.
