To celebrate SG50, a couple of places in Singapore such as Science centre and museums are giving free entry to Singaporeans. Being Kiasu Singaporeans, we die die had to go for something free, so we chose to go for Human Body special exhibition in Science Centre.
The normal fees for entry is $15 for adult, and $12 for kid. Well, we queued for about 2 hours and saved ourselves $50+. However, honestly, I found the exhibition rather disappointing. It was just a short 10-15 minutes inside, and the whole experience was rather scary, and uncomfortable for me cause it requires a lot of squeezing through, bending down etc, not suitable for old people.
The whole idea of the exhibition is to bring us through the human anatomy, through organs, muscles and systems, and let us interact and play with the amazing functions of the body. But I definitely will not pay $50+ for the experience, as it is not worthwhile at all.
Anyway, because everything was free, so Science Centre was packed with many people. We queued for about 2 hours to see the human body. What an experience! But at least, we managed to go for something free for SG50!
