The kids had their first piano concert with Teacher Jo today. Teacher Jo’s piano concert is short and simple, every student is just required to play one piano piece, and the whole concert lasts only about 2 hours.. The concert is held at the library in Esplanade. There is no Emcee and lots of rehearsals like the previous piano teacher. I like the simplicity in the concert, however, there were not enough chairs for the parents, and some of us had to stand for the whole 2 hours, which hindered us from enjoying the whole concert. Anyway, Teacher Jo is a nice and patient teacher, and the kids love her. They are always looking forward to her lessons. Dash is preparing for grade 5 next year, hopefully, he is able to learn all the grade 5 piano pieces well, and sit for the exam next year. I told him, if he passes his grade 5 exam with at least a merit, he will be able to get a new piano!
