I realised the last time we stayed at Downtown East Chalet was in August year 2011. http://ido.sg/theincredibles/?p=13757 In year 2012, we did not stay at the chalet for the whole year.

So this year during March holidays, I booked 3 days 2 nights stay at Downtown East chalet. However, I realised Dash had to go for his Just education lessons, so I wrote in to change the stay to Good Friday long weekends 28-30 March.

We checked in on Good Friday. Before we checked in, we went to catch a movie “The Croods”. It was a very nice show, funny and heartwarming. The storyline: The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures — and their outlook is changed forever.

After the show, we checked into the chalet, and took a nap. We were pleasantly surprised to find two queen size beds in our chalet room. Usually, the beds we got in the past were two single size pull out beds. The two queen size beds are big enough for all four of us to sleep, and we really slept comfortably for the 2 nights. After we woke up from our naps, we saw there was this megabounce, and let Dash tried it out. He said it was scary, especially when the guy bounced him way up high.

We had our dinner at fat fish steamboat. I bought the dinner voucher from voucherlicious, and in the end, only to find out that it was not worth the deal, cause I still had to pay another $55+ for the kids, as well as weekends surcharge. After dinner, I let the kids did sand art outside the chalet room at the bbq area, cause I seldom let them do it at home for fear of dirtying the house. The kids were so happy! They need not have to fear having sand flying all over the place. Me and hubby were catching the last episode of the channel 8 show while the kids were doing sand art.

The next morning, after our breakfast at burger king, we went to wild wild wet. We had four free complimentary tickets from the chalet stay, so we just brought the kids there. It is newly renovated.. I finally bought my swimming costume from the swimming accessories shop outside wild wild wet, and could go around playing the slides and waterplay with the kids. It was a great bonding time for our whole family. After that, I brought Violet for the megabounce cause after seeing her gor gor tried it yesterday, she kept pestering us to let her try too, but in the end, when she was up on the bounce, she was so afraid that she didn’t even bounce at all. After that,we had our lunch at Mr Chicken rice, our favorite chicken rice place.

At night, my family came over for a bbq session. It was feasting time for us! The kids had a good time making their own bracelets using the jewelleries kit I bought from Ehub! at just $2.50.The next morning at about 8am+, we checked out of the chalet. The 3 days 2 nights stay at Downtown East was really a great bonding time for our whole family!
