Princess Barbie

Violet has her first barbie doll. Actually, it was given by my sister, who got it from her colleague who wanted to throw her away (sounds like the poor barbie doll in toy story). It is brand new in box. The barbie doll is a princess, looks rather pretty to me. When I was young, I hope so much to have one, but during our times, my parents could not afford to get me one, so they just got those cheapo dolls for me, and my mum made the dolls’ clothes, those were the days!

Rosy Soft Rag doll

For Violet’s coming birthday, I bought for her this rag doll I saw from bulk purchase as a gift. It looks really cute to me, more friendly (I am rather afraid of dolls that look too real). It’s cheap too! Just S$8, her name is Rosy. I hope this doll will be a good companion for Violet.

**** Both dolls end up like the barbie in toy story, thrown aside by Violet Tan, who doesn’t seem to fancy them. haha
