Comparing my two kiddos, they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

For Dash, when he was about one year old, he was slower in motor skills, he walked at 16-17 months, and was not good with motor skills, like using a spoon to scoop up small things. But he was fast with language, he could speak before he was one year old, and could speak quite a bit before he was two. During classes, however, he would not participate much, and just watched what others were doing.

For Violet, she was better in motor skills. She could walk at about one year old, and and scooped up porridge by herself using spoon before she was a year old. She could understand instructions well, and would participate actively in class. However, she is rather slow in language. Right now, she can only say one to two words syllables, and simple words like those she needs to use daily. Other than that, she can’t speak much.

But one thing in common, both are not afraid of strangers, and both love their gong gong (my hubby’s Dad) very much.

No matter what are their strengths and weaknesses, they are equally important to me. Both are my precious darlings.
