Our favorite shopping place for groceries is at Tampines giant. We usually will go there like once or twice a month to stock up our supplies of groceries, especially milk powder and diapers. Well, needless to say, we always spend like $100-300 over there, cause milk powder and diapers really cost a lot!!! I have already collected enough giant stamps to exchange for a big frying pan, so you can imagine how much I have spend over there! How I wish we do not have to spend money on those anymore (sweat…)! But Dash is still on gain kid, and drinking twice per day (which I think is good for growing up children), and Violet is on gain iq. We used to buy huggies for Violet, as we heard that girls need to be on better diapers as they are at risk of developing UTI, but after Violet turned 1 year old, we downgraded to drypers, cheaper brand, cause it really costs a lot to buy huggies. Anyway, we found that drypers are also not too bad…we are thinking what about those poorer families? How do they survive?
Come back to my heading of $1 deal. I saw giant selling chinese activity/storybooks at $1. I feel that they are worth buying as I bought them from popular fair before at $2 or more. Anyway, do take a look if you happen to drop by.
Daddy took this photo of the 2 kids in trolley at giant with his new iphone.
